Love against the Stream (Novel and play) (English version available)

Katja lives in an apartment in a building where others with Downs syndrome and other disorders also have their own apartments. One of them is Johannes, who is a computer nerd despite of his handicap. He is also a great musician, and he loved to conduct the big horn music orchestra in his local town; once in the while the director of the orchestra let him perform. He is always busy and Katja finds him quite weird. Katja had a small job making sandwiches in a company for others with the same problems.
Katja has a great passion: she loves drama and theatre (Especially Romeo and Juliet). By a coincidence the day she turned 20, she met the one she admired the most in life, the famous movie and stage actor Vidar Antonsen. He finds her sitting in a squatting position, lost in an intersection nearby a buzzling main street. She is very upset and worried because she cannot find her way to her sister's house, where she was going to celebrate her own birthday. Vidar talks to her and offers her his help. She looks up and becomes so amazed, her hero!
He takes her to her sister's house.
