Submission Guidelines

First: We also work with publishers and agents in all the corners of the world. So do not hesitate to contact us if you are among them. We do not submit books or manuscripts to Norwegian publishers. The rest on this site is primarily meant for authors.

YourAgent.no is an international agency that primarily sells publishing rights world wide for already established writers, Norwegians as well as authors from other countries. If you want your work to be published in Norway, you can submit your manuscripts/book directly to the publishers in this country. But if you are an established writer who have sold well in any country and are looking for an agent to help you further, world wide, you are welcome to write to us.

YourAgent.no gets several letters every week from writers all over the world. Unfortunately we have no capacity to answer you all. But we will do our best to give writers who addess us directly an honest answer. Letters without names will be erased, the same goes for enclosed manuscripts with the first email. For the same capacity reasons, we prefer writers with published books to manuscripts.

Send us a short introduction letter why you think YourAgent should be your agent. Include your full address and email address. We would also like to know if you hold the publishing rights yourself, if your work has been published, when and where, and how much it has sold.
Unless you have already done some success:
We do not want thrillers, childrens books, poetry, and "How-to-do"- books. Un-published history fiction from Scandinavia is not in our program.
Remember to submit the following:
List of Content (for non-fiction)
Synopsis, maximum one page
Biography

Also inform the agency what effort you can offer in marketing the book once published(Apperances TV, Radio talks, Book fair visits etc)
